Kate and Gerry I am writing to ask for a prayer request in regard to a man named Bill. Please pray with me for his salvation, and for those in his life who don’t know Jesus, or how much He truly loves them. At this time Bill needs release from addictive vulnerabilities, depression, and is in danger of influence by unbelievers (who also need prayer) whose worldly beliefs stand in opposition to God's word. Please ask the Lord to surround Bill with believers who can minister to him, and that He may use the challenges Bill has endured to further the kingdom and lead him to salvation; then, that others will see and also be pointed to Christ by what God does in Bill's life.

Our brother-in-law, Herman Lensing, (my sister's husband) was diagnosed with brain cancer in November. He is now in UAMS and has been given a day or two to live. He has a severe infection (a Superbug), plus his blood pressure is staying up only with medication. He is being removed from all medications today, which is what he has asked for. Please pray for him, and for my sister, Beth, and their family as they face these last days.

Please pray for my little Jacob, he had a fall and a minor fracture in his right elbow. This is the start of the new school year in Australia. He missed the first two days in school. Please pray for his healing and that Jacob will be able to cope with all school activities with just the use of his left hand in the coming week..or weeks, as he seems to be determined to do at home. May many angels come to his help. Also pray that our Lord will be with him throughout grade 1.

I am overjoyed to notify you that Mom will be coming home tomorrow!!! It would have been 6 months in just 3 more days since her initial fall. She spent 77 days in a coma, 99 days total in the hospital, and the rest in a nursing home/rehab facility. It is worth recounting her incredible story. Initially, we were given little to no hope of her waking up and ever coming out of a vegetative state. Even after she awoke, we were then told that the trache and feeding tube would likely be permanent and her recovery would be slow and limited. When she finally checked into the nursing/rehab facility, we were told that "she could stay here until she passes". It's not that these were bad people that we were working with, her recovery was just greatly unexpected and unexplainable in scientific and human terms. If seeing is believing, then she has made believers out of many in the last 6 months.

Would you please pray for Bev Priest? She's having a procedure today at St. Jo's. Bev is physically not a young woman, but her heart, mind and soul are at least 30 years old! She is a spectacular friend who lives, laughs and loves so deeply that she simply makes the sun shine even if the clouds are raining. My fear, altho totally selfish, is that Our Father will want her to sit at His table. Bev gives of herself , time and talents to everyone who needs anything for any reason. Can you tell, I like her. Well not really, I love her buckets.

Please pray for Adri Patterson. She is the (almost 3 year old) daughter of my assistant principal and was diagnosed with a brain tumor today1/11/10. She is scheduled for surgery Friday1/15/10. I thought having a face with your prayers would help. I can't imagine what her parents are going through. All of us at school are dong everything we can to get as many people praying for her as possible. Please pass this along to friends, family members, and church prayer groups. Please remember these staff members in your prayers:
• Joan Harrison will be going to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix on February 15. She has been dealing with a multitude of issues that had her in the hospital for 10 days - low blood pressure, dehydration, racing pulse, mal absorption, block in small intestine - all this on top of her Parkinson's disease.
• While in Albuquerque for the Richard Rohr conference, Nancy Burns had emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix. She is very ill from the peritonitis. They are trying to keep the infection from settling in her artificial knees causing more complications. She is in Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque.
• Sandy Hutson has collapsed bronchia at the top of her lungs. They may have to do surgery to put in cartilage to hold it up. This was really the problem when they had been diagnosing her as having asthma.
May the healing mercy of Our Lord surround them with peace and love. Pray for all those with special needs held in their hearts. Remember all of our devoted staff who are so generous in giving of their time and talent to the Center.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Cecilia Valdiri. Close to 30 years ago, she came from Colombia with her sister Inez to be part of the charismatic renewal in Ann Arbor. They gave up lucrative law practices to do so, and both died totally dependent on the community they had joined - and by whom they were much beloved. Inez passed away a few years ago, and Cecilia has spent the last 18 months in Emmanuel House, a home for indigent elderly women run by the
sisterhood of the community, the Servants of God's Love. A woman of deep prayer and radiant faith, she will be very much missed.
I am asking prayers for my friend Nancy Halliday who is in the hospital right now with a fever of unknown origin, spiking up to 104F, along with a bad cough. She has been in the hospital since Saturday morning and the doctors still can't diagnose her illness, after batteries and batteries of tests. The family is very worried, of course.

Please pray for these families who are in danger of losing everything in this bad weather, and for continued good health for Ranulfo.This extended family opens their homes every year to the many who come down to see the miraculous journey and roosting sites of the monarch butterfly. El Rosario is one of the primary roosting sites. The Suarez' and de Mancilla's conservation work is well known. I am forwarding this request for prayers on their behalf and at Carole's request.

Please pray for Al Preuss who is in ICU at Mary Fletcher in Burlington, Vermont. No diagnosis has come through yet.
Thank you for your prayer for Teeny Lessor. No additional news has come forward yet. I have heard only that the situation is complicating any defined prognosis.

My husband is ill... He cannot sleep. eat much, he is so weak and in pain... Doctors give him several diagnosis but nothing is working...He has given up and prays to die... He used to be so hopeful and loving He resents me and our 2 children... I know this is the illnees but please pray for total healing for him He is everything to us
